Kidnapped Scratched from 2010 Rosehill Guineas

March 26th, 2010

Peter Snowden’s hopeful three-year-old for this Saturday’s $500, 000 Group 1 Darley Rosehill Guineas (2000m), Kidnapped, has been scratched from the race after the Viscount gelding displayed an elevated temperature on Thursday night.

The scratching of Kidnapped has left owner Sheikh Mohammed, who also owns Darley the sponsor of the Rosehill Guineas, without a runner in his self-sponsored feature.

Currently the Bart Cummings-trained Group 1 Australian Guineas winner Rock Classic and John Wallace’s Randwick Guineas champion Shoot Out are fighting for favouritism both installed at $3.10 with Ladbrokes.com.au.

After drawing the coveted barrier one, Zabrasive is now sitting as the second elect at $5.
